Factory cleaning is not office cleaning at a bigger scale. It means working around live machinery, dealing with process residue rather than dust, and knowing when to stop and ask for an isolation certificate.
We clean production facilities across the North West, from small manufacturing units to large process plants, and most of the work happens during planned shutdowns or between shifts.
High level cleaning
Dust on roof steelwork, cable trays, ductwork and light fittings is a fire risk, a contamination risk and the reason your lux levels have quietly dropped by a third. We clean at high level using MEWPs, with vacuum extraction rather than blowing dust down onto the line.
For food and pharmaceutical sites we work to your hygiene protocols, use colour coded equipment and provide a documented clean-down record for your audit file.
Shutdown and turnaround work
Shutdowns are measured in hours, not days. We plan the sequence with your engineering team beforehand, mobilise the crew size the window actually needs, and work through the night if that is what gets the line back on time.
Machinery cleaning, tank and vessel cleaning, pit and sump clearance, extraction ductwork, walls and floors, and a full waste removal at the end.
Compliance and safety
Every job gets a site-specific risk assessment and method statement before we mobilise. Operatives are inducted to your site rules and trained for the work they carry out, including work at height.
Where a permit to work, lock-off or confined space entry applies, we work to your system, not around it. If the isolation is not in place, we wait.
