Grounds are the first impression of a site and the easiest thing to let slide. A visitor forms a view of your business somewhere between the entrance barrier and the front door, and overgrown verges do most of the damage in that stretch.
We run grounds maintenance as an annual contract with a fixed monthly cost, so budgeting is predictable and nobody has to chase a contractor every fortnight through the summer.
What a contract covers
Grass cutting on a fortnightly cycle through the growing season, hedge and shrub trimming, bed weeding and mulching, edging along paths and car parks, weed control on hard surfaces, leaf clearance in autumn and litter picking on every visit.
Winter visits do not disappear. From November to March the schedule shifts to pruning, hard surface weed treatment, leaf and litter clearance and gritting, so the site is still being looked after when nothing is growing.
Winter gritting and snow clearance
Car parks, footpaths and entrances gritted on a call-out or scheduled basis, triggered by forecast. Icy walkways are the single most common winter liability claim on a commercial site, and a gritting record is exactly what your insurer will ask for afterwards.
We log every gritting visit with a time and date so you have the evidence if you ever need it.
Sites we look after
-
Business and office parks
Communal grounds, car park edges and entrance planting kept presentable for tenants and visitors.
-
Schools and academies
Playing field margins, planted areas and hard surfaces, worked around the school day and safeguarding requirements.
-
Industrial estates
Verges, fence lines and yard edges kept clear so signage, lighting and CCTV lines stay unobstructed.
-
Housing and managed estates
Communal greens, shared paths and bin store areas on a scheduled round with reporting to the managing agent.

Frequently asked questions
Fortnightly from March to October for grass cutting, then monthly through the winter for pruning, leaf clearance, weed control and litter. Gritting is on top of that and forecast triggered.
Yes. We total the year's work and divide it into twelve equal payments, so you are not hit with heavy invoices in summer and nothing in winter. It makes the budget line predictable.
Yes. We treat weeds on car parks, paths and hard standing, usually two or three applications a year. Where a job needs a pesticide application, it is carried out by a certificated applicator.
We identify and report it, and we work with a specialist for treatment and the management plan. Knotweed needs a documented programme and an insurance backed guarantee, not a contractor with a spray pack.
